The snood is making a come back for winter! Fall runways at Missoni, Burberry Prorsum, and Fendi saw the warm scarf-meets-hood concoction in soft knits along with silk-lined options. The looks ran from daytime casual, placing the snood with a basic top, to evening, where a fur-lined snood glammed up a modern frock. While it might not be the statement necklace you're used to, the warm, wintery piece is certainly an accessory to try this season. It'll keep out the bitter chill while keeping your look up to date and stylish!
We're loving the casual snoods from Timo and Acne,as well as this updated version from Kai-aakmann. And guys can wear the style too! Try this wool snood from Wrath Arcane!

Last spring, Alexander Wang's Coco duffel bag sent fashionistas everywhere into a pre-order shopping frenzy (thanks to a certain Mary Kate Olsen who toted a gifted bag all about New York). The bag sold out, gals went crazy, but thankfully Mr. Wang restocked the shelves! Unfortunately, due to some sweet copyright issues, Wang went ahead and changed the name to Rocco and added a choice of silver or bronze studs. Same bag, same studs, fresh leather, different name!
Copyright aside, this bag is getting loads of press! Read about it on bag snob here, the purse blog, and style.com! And while you're at it, take some style notes from MK herself!
We're still celebrating the Swede life over here at REVOLVE! And to keep you in the mood, here's a film from Rodebjer!
This film, titled "Herr Rodebjer," was directed by Mattias Montero and features the wonderful stylings from designer Carin Rodebjer! It's so chic, so arty!
Denim designer Michelle Siwy pioneered the skinny jean craze, now the New Yorker enters the world of sequins and ruching. Find out how this denim machine ticks in this week's designer profile!
How much do we love Wren? Lots! And it seems Teen Vogue digs the line too! Recently the fashion pub featured both the wool check moto jacket (they shot it in red, we've got it in heather grey!) and the navy Karolina cord blazer. These two jackets definitely make getting winter ready all the more fun! Plus a little bit of print and color will help warm up any look. Take a note from Teen Vogue and style the jackets with a cute mini dress, or find your inner tomboy with all those cute lumberjack checks!
Hey boot dudes! REVOLVE is throwing a party to help celebrate the launch of Wolverine's 1000 Mile Collection! The ladies from The Hills (alums included) are sporting some serious skinny style action as of late. And we're not talking just your average skinny jeans either.
When it comes to craving that tighter-the-better pencil leg, Audrina Partridge, Stephanie Pratt, and Whitney Port head straight for the Charley 5.0 skinny minis. The style features straight, ruched, or snap ankle details with a fit that is just as snug as your favorite leggings. Meanwhile, Kristin Cavallari opts to bare some skin. She pairs the Charley 5.0 skinny mini skirt with a flirty top, creating a balanced outfit that shows off her silhouette without going overkill on the whole body con look.
Word on the street is that chain mail is coming in big for spring. But the slinky silver is already popping up on pieces big and small, from knight-inspired blouses to purses to these little black booties from trendy shoe man Jeffrey Campbell. Could this suede four-inch heeled, chain-metal bootie be your answer to this coat-of-arms trend? We thinks it's not too much, but just enough, armour action for the look.
Modern Amusement is all things laid back and cool, with a design style that speaks more to exploring contrasts than name dropping. Also, it seems the designers have quiet a sweet tooth! Sour candy and vegan cookies anyone?
One of our favorite shoemakers made the pages of Vogue! For the November issue, George Esquivel, founder and designer over at Esquivel shoes and one of this year's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists, sat down for a brief chat and pose with our favorite fashion bible.
In the world of shoemaking, there are few like Esquivel. The California-based designer has been crafting his style of Hamptons-meets-Lollapalooza shoes by hand since 1994. His range of fine leather footwear includes modern oxfords and a range of boots, all of which come adorned in punk rock-inspired embellishments and unexpected colors, like shiny bronze or black and purple boots bedecked in zippers. To get that bespoke look and feel, all shoes are hand finished using custom tools and original textures—last fall we saw crinkled effects, this year we dream in smooth suede spats and scabbed leather. It's also good to know that not only is Esquivel a favorite among the rocker set, now he has the Vogue stamp of approval!
Looks like Timo Weiland is taking over fashion and film! Check out this short film director Shal Ngo made for the man who brought polka dots to the bow tie.
Loving the gardens, the fashion, the love, the drama!!!
